When you are preparing for the GRE one of the most important things you can do to increase your score is to learn vocabulary words that are likely to appear on the test. The GRE verbal section can be tricky, so you must be prepared to recognize difficult vocabulary words. Many of these words are not part of your daily lexicon and you may be unfamiliar with them. By taking time to learn and understand new words, you will be better prepared for the GRE.
There are some things that you can do to greatly increase your chances of knowing the vocabulary on the GRE. First, use a vocabulary building program that is both fun and interactive. Being motivated to study is difficult for many of us. By using a product that is both fun and easy to use, you will be more apt to use it. Learning vocabulary does not have to be a choir. There are programs available that are much more fun than sitting with a dictionary looking up and memorizing definitions.
